2016 Wrap Up / Music Mix

2016 has been one heck of a year for The Projection Booth. I've continued to strive for some stellar interviews as well as guest co-hosts while covering an eclectic mix of new, old, popular, and obscure films. Thanks to all of those guests and co-hosts, and thanks especially to everyone who's listened to the show.

I wanted to share the least downloaded episodes of the year. These may have skewed a bit due to the switching of hosts in September but I tried to work in the old tracking with the new. Likewise, these numbers are from late November and not counting any of the December shows:

Least Downloaded Episodes of 2016

  1. Looker (1981)
  2. Salvador (1986)
  3. Some Call It Loving
  4. Sholay
  5. The Last Dragon
  6. Smile
  7. Night of the Comet
  8. Sugar Hill
  9. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark
  10. Pump Up the Volume
Again, I'm going to plead for folks to listen to those episodes if they haven't before as I think that most of them are pretty great. I'm surprised to see a few of those as being so low in the list.

Most Downloaded Episodes of 2016

  1. The Shining (1980)
  2. Doomed The Untold Story of Roger Corman's the Fantastic Four
  3. Martyrs (2008)
  4. Showgirls
  5. Mulholland Dr (2001)
  6. Night of the Creeps (1986)
  7. Duck Soup (1933)
  8. Straw Dogs (1971)
  9. Killer Party (1986)
  10. Vertigo (1958)
As I did last year, I've put together a compilation of music from nearly every episode (omitting some specials) from 2016. It's as eclectic as I like the show to be. I hope folks find it enjoyable!

  1. you do an amazing job ,
sometimes I'm not into the super obscure movies even though I watch alot of those kinds of movies so I tend to skip some of them , and focusing on the more "commonly known" episodes .

but every show is stellar of course .
I think maybe if you did every other episode more mainstream and then obscure more people would get drawn to your show .

keep up the amazing work you rock
